I have enjoyed reading your blog posts. I have had a blog for quite some time now regarding “Personal Branding” if you would like to view it below. I think it would be mutual beneficial for us to exchange links on our blogs(add each other to blogroll) and share information and traffic. Well let me know what you think and good work on your blog!

    Thanks,

A recent post on the JobCentral blog, critical of Gerry Crispin for comments he made on an April 1 blog posting, was recently deleted from the JobCentral blog. I would like to point out that in the interest of transparency and candor, simply deleting blog posts is ~not~ considered an appropriate practice. Whatever the reason for deleting the post, adding a comment amending or retracting the post would have been far more appropriate.

Thanks for your comment and advice. It was removed because some people, obviously including you, read it as being critical of Gerry. It was done toungue-in- cheek in the greatest Crispin tradition and style. It wasn’t my intention at all to be critical of Gerry so I deleted it.

I understand what you are saying. It makes sense and I understand why it would not be considered an appropriate practice. In the future I will do as you have suggested. Again, thanks for your response.

    Hey Bill,

Where can I find this “Veterans’ Job Clearinghouse”?

  11. September 5th, 2007 | 10:51 pm

    Hi Greg,

Here is the URL that we will be releasing next week. I hope it helps. As a Vet myself I can assure you we are doing all we can to get jobs out to you and the DVOPs and LVERs.

    http://www.jobcentral.org/vetreps/

There will be a lot more to come. VetCentral (and JobCentral) are provided by some of the biggest federal contractors in the world.

Please keep in touch and let me know how your job search is going. I hope we can help.

Thanks for your service and the very best to you in all you do.

    Bill
